Texas State Footbag Open Doubles Net Final: Big Rally

Remember, these guys are moving around a 44x20 ft. court, 3 of them in their late 40's; try it some time, not easy to keep a rally like this going, as you have to transport yourself AND strike the bag with your feet.

ATX Weekly Thursday Night Social Bike Ride

The weekly Thursday Night Social Bike Ride, my 1st one, is about the most encouraging, pleasant community bike event I've ever come across in 16 biking years. The mission is to kindly & respectfully ride (think Gandhi or MLK), not causing each other or others we encounter on the roads undue stress. At the same time, a forceful, massive celebratory statement is made on behalf of the endless values of cycling. A great night sight, must've been ~400 bike lights flooding the streets we rode.

Stevie Ray Vaughan

Just read today from a Robert Randolph (& the Family Band) interview that he remembers Stevie saying something like, just months oral before he would be lost to our immediate senses, that we have to inspire people now, we can't wait, or else it may get too late. Why do we hardly ever live our lives anything like that? What do we constantly await before we move ahead towards where we know we want and need to be? Thanks for the important words, Stevie.
